How does it work?
Piezo Buzzer (EPT-14A4005P) represents an audio signaling device powered by DC voltage to produce a tone, alarm, or sound from Sanco Electronic. As its name suggests, a Piezo Buzzer’s core is made of the piezoelectric element, i.e., piezoelectric ceramic, as well as the metal plate held together in or piece by the adhesive. Due to the piezoelectric material, when an AC is passed through, it’ll shrinks and expand, which then causes a vibration that produces sound waves.
This TH piezo buzzer comes with a sealed circular shape dimension of 13.8×6.8mm rated for the resonant frequency of 4000Hz (refers to the frequency in which the buzzer vibrates), draws a maximum current of 2mA, and has a wide range of operating voltage from 1 to 25V (typical 5V). Thanks to its reliability and flexibility, it makes an excellent choice for various sounding applications ranging from alarms to automobile alerts, consumer electronics, and more.
