Board features two 8-bit non-inverting bus transceiver LVXC3245. All inputs and outputs are 5V tolerant. LVXC3245 is manufactured in advanced dual metal CMOS technology. This bus transceiver contains two separate supply rails that allow transition from a 3.3V to 5V system environment. This bus transceiver is ideal for asynchronous communication between two data buses (A and B). It transmits data from A to B or vice versa, depending on the logic level at the direction-control (DIR) input. The output-enable (OE) input can be used to disable the device, thus isolating the buses effectively.
