How does it work?

Liquid Level Sensor FS-SW, model SW385, is a compact and reliable float-type sensor designed for accurate detection of liquid levels in various applications. Constructed with a durable polypropylene (PP) shell and siding, it offers excellent chemical resistance, making it suitable for use with a wide range of media including water, gas, and oil. The sealing mechanism uses a rubber gasket to ensure leak-proof operation under demanding conditions. Internally, the sensor features a magnetic sensitive switch that functions as a single pole single throw (SPST) contact, delivering precise open or close electrical signals based on the liquid level.

The integrated wireway uses AWM2464 24AWG wiring, ensuring stable signal transmission and easy integration into monitoring systems. Designed to operate within a temperature range of -10°C to +85°C, the FS-SW sensor maintains reliable performance across various environmental conditions. It has an IP65 rating, offering protection against dust ingress and water spray from any direction, which is critical for both indoor and outdoor installations.

The sensor exhibits high durability, with an operating life of up to 100,000 cycles, and supports a pressure resistance of up to 10 bar, with minimal average pressure loss of just 0.01 bar even at maximum flow rates.
