How does it work?

LCD IPS 0.66” White Display (ER-OLED0.66-1W) is a high-contrast 0.66-inch graphic OLED display module developed by EastRising, featuring a resolution of 64×48 individual white OLED pixels. Built around the SSD1306 controller, this display supports multiple communication interfaces including 8080 4-bit and 8-bit parallel, as well as I2C and 4-wire SPI, offering flexibility for integration into a wide range of embedded systems. Thanks to the controller’s built-in voltage generation circuitry, the module operates with a single 3.3V power supply, simplifying power design. As an OLED, it emits its own light and therefore does not require a backlight, which not only minimizes power consumption but also enables deep black levels and a high typical contrast ratio of 2000:1.

The self-emissive nature of the technology also provides a wide 160° viewing angle (80° in each direction), ensuring excellent visibility from any side. The display delivers a typical brightness of 80cd/m², suitable for use in indoor environments where direct sunlight readability is not a requirement. Physically, the module has an outline dimension of 18.46 by 18.10 millimeters, with a slim profile of only 1.45 millimeters, making it ideal for compact applications. The active display area measures 13.42mm in width by 10.06mm in height, and each pixel is sized at 0.19mm with a pitch of 0.21mm, resulting in a crisp and clearly defined image.

The display is not equipped with a touch panel and is supplied with a solder-type FPC, designed to be directly soldered onto a PCB without the need for additional connectors. This makes the ER-OLED0.66-1W a reliable, space-saving solution for small-scale graphical user interfaces in portable devices, wearables, instruments, and other embedded applications requiring clear monochrome display output.
