How does it work?
A brushless DC electric motor (BLDC motor) is synchronous motor powered by direct current (DC) electricity via an inverter or brushless driver IC which changes DC current to the form of AC to drive each phase of the motor via a closed loop controller. The controller provides pulses of current to the motor windings that control the speed and torque of the motor. This control system replaces the commutator (brushes) used in many conventional electric motors. The outrunner (or external-rotor) configuration, the radial-relationship between the coils and magnets is reversed from inrunner configuration; the stator coils form the center (core) of the motor, while the permanent magnets spin within an overhanging rotor which surrounds the core.
